Positive Mindset and Creative Thinking

A positive mindset and creative thinking go together really well. Not everyone has a creative mind, however you can incorporate it into daily life, with a little out of the box thinking.

Some people like to doodle while they are on the phone to someone or maybe they prefer to write in a journal every day. In reality a positive mindset and creative thinking go hand in hand, we don’t even realise it.

I find positive affirmations really beneficial, especially if you are feeling down or lonely. Reading positive quotes can help you see things from a different angle and help you rebalance your feelings.

As a creative mentor previously, I found mind mapping a great way to put down your ideas as well as positive thoughts and feelings. We can all list negative things about ourselves, but listing positive ones is not always as easy at first.

Changing your mindset into the present moment can alter the way we move forward with our lives. Being able to see the future can help us make new plans and see things with a positive eye. Even the top athletes use positive thinking to encourage themselves to win games and score goals.

Creative thinking can be as simple as trying new ingredients for a recipe or changing a room around to feel refreshed. It can also be used to problem solve in the work place. Out of the box thinking can provide limitless ideas to everyday work issues. If you cannot see an obvious solution, you can always create one with a different perspective or view.

The land of opportunity is there for us all to see, if we have a positive mindset and use our creative side of our brains regularly.
